Named in honor of former Yorba Linda resident Richard Nixon, the Nixon Library is also a museum housing many artifacts from his life. One group of such artifacts known to most as the Watergate tapes are kept in their own special room and played during business hours. Late in the night when the only people in the area are the security guards strange things begin to happen in the library. Peculiar tapping noises can be heard echoing from the Watergate room as well as the continuous playing of the Watergate tapes themselves. Constantly malfunctioning, the tapes appear to be controlled by some unknown outside force.
